∎ Age 28 to 50 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overall supervision of greige preparation, dye lab ,dyeing, CPB and yarn dyeing.
∎ Co-ordination with the planning Department and dye lab for the dyeing program as per machine capacity and priority requirement of shipments.
∎ Taking care of machine maintenance with co-ordination of the Maintenance team.
∎ Taking care of spare parts inventory.
∎ Dye & recipe selection with dye lab manager based on, customer technical requirement, processes & fabric quality, cost and supplier logistic.
∎ Monitoring and managing of the Inventory dyes, chemicals and stationery.
∎ Taking care of Quality checks of the dyed fabric, shade approval of fabric.
∎ Leading dye lab manager for lab matching of shades in laboratory and ensuring lab to bulk dyeing shade matching.
∎ Managing Cold pad batch dyeing, shade consistency and quality aspects.
∎ Taking care of testing of Rubbing, washing, Light and Perspiration fastness.
∎ To observe and team work with finishing manager for dyed product during finishing & also after finishing.
∎ Solving the color matching problem during finishing and if required, recommending solution by the help of spectrophotometer for the better performance/perfection.
∎ Handle all types of fabric dyeing like Polyester, Viscose, Cotton, elastane Control the supervisors, operators asst. operator & helpers of dyeing m/c.
∎ Regular training of the workmen and supervisory staff on quality issues.
∎ Ensuring RSL free fabric production (Implying RSL, ZDHC in dye, chemical selection).
∎ Ensuring ERP software application within the department for material movement, recipe & Inventory management.
∎ Leading Health& safety regulations implications in dye house. In case of major problems, inform the department head to solve or implement the alternative options.
∎ This position is responsible for managing all dyeing operations with respect to the customer quality expectation in collaboration with Finishing, Process control & Knitting department.
