Dairy Farm Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support and oversee the routine care and management of the cow farm.
∎ Monitor and manage artificial insemination processes.
∎ Ensure milk production and bull development are optimized while maintaining strict hygiene standards.
∎ Maintain the quality of raw milk.
∎ Utilize modern methodologies to maximize cattle growth and productivity.
∎ Stay up to date with new farm technology and implement ways to enhance the farm's environmental sustainability.
∎ Ensure the overall health and well-being of the livestock.
∎ Prepare production and administrative reports.
∎ Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of farm facilities, structures, and equipment.
∎ Plan, monitor, and assess manpower requirements.
∎ Take care of livestock feeding, treatment, and general well-being.
∎ Establish and monitor a disinfecting schedule to maintain proper hygiene and biosecurity.
∎ Report any unusual or unexpected results to the management.
∎ Handle administrative issues and maintain accurate records.
∎ Ensure compliance with government regulations related to farm activities.
∎ Uphold health and safety standards across the farm estate.
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 23 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
∎ Excellent communication skills with the ability to solve problems analytically.
∎ Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for animal health and well-being.
∎ Strong team-building and leadership skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
