Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversees building and grounds maintenance
∎ Operates and maintains custodial functions
∎ Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly
∎ Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures
∎ Handles general accounting tasks, such as accounts payable, payroll, petty cash, and budgeting
∎ Oversees and supervises the quality of work for other employees to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively
∎ Provides training for skilled and semi-skilled staff
∎ Maintains all building maintenance, preventive maintenance and asset tag files
∎ Schedules vacation and other types of leave requests for subordinates
∎ Identifies and addresses any deterioration, repair, and maintenance needs
∎ Manages and reviews service contracts
∎ Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections
∎ Conducts annual performance reviews for assigned staff
∎ Checks completed work by vendors and contractors
∎ Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications
∎ Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees
∎ Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility management
∎ Performs related work as required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ 3-5 years' Experience in Related Position
∎ Experience from Hospitability Industry will be an added advantage
∎ Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of building maintenance
∎ Ability to understand, interpret, lead, and effectively carry out complex oral and written instructions
∎ Thorough knowledge of the characteristics and maintenance needs of a wide variety of building and mechanical equipment
∎ Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions
∎ Comprehensive knowledge of computerized building management systems and a computer based maintenance management system
∎ Ability to maintain inventory control at minimum/maximum levels
∎ Must have ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics, plan sketches, and basic floor plans
∎ Technically competent with excellent problem solving, analytical, and managerial skills
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a diverse range of service providers
∎ Ability to remain organized and demonstrate good time management skills
∎ Ability to handle a complex and diverse workload
