Bachelor/master’s in business administration, Supply Chain or relevant field.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP software and email communication.
Responsibilities & Context:
1. Import & Export Management:
Oversee all import and export documentation and shipment processes.
Ensure timely opening of L/Cs, amendments and negotiation with banks.
Coordinate with C&F agents, shipping lines and freight forwarders.
Monitor HS codes, duty structures and customs documentation.
2. Bond & Customs Compliance:
Manage bonded warehouse operations and ensure compliance with customs rules.
Monitor inventory records in coordination with store, accounts and production.
Liaise with the Bond Commissioner’s office for audit, license renewal and related activities.
3. Banking & LC Handling:
Deal with commercial banks for L/Cs, TT, loan documentation and payment processing.
Maintain strong relationships with banks to ensure favorable terms and fast service.
Handle back-to-back L/C, FDD, UPAS and EDF files.
4. Cost Control & Documentation:
Ensure minimum lead time and cost for import/export activities.
Verify all commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of entry and export documents.
Maintain updated knowledge of customs, VAT and NBR regulations.
5. Coordination & Communication:
Coordinate with production, Store, merchandising and Accounts teams.
Handle buyer-wise export documentation (UD, GSP, COO, EPB, etc.).
Maintain regular communication with buying houses, banks, customs and other stakeholders.
