Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Freight Forwarding: Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure their terms meet organizational objectives.
∎ Import Banking Activities: Monitor import-related banking activities, including letters of credit and shipping document management.
∎ Document Management: Oversee the receipt and submission of documents to local authorities for efficient cargo clearance.
∎ CnF Agent Management: Monitor Clearing and Forwarding (CnF) agent activities and provide necessary guidance and documentation for cargo clearance.Cargo and Import Management:
∎ Local Authorities Coordination: Ensure timely and accurate submission of necessary documents to local authorities for cargo clearance.
∎ CnF Agent Guidance: Provide necessary guidance and documentation to CnF agents to facilitate smooth cargo clearance processes.Reporting and Analysis:
∎ Cost Analysis: Conduct regular price impact analysis of imported materials to ensure cost-effectiveness.
∎ Performance Evaluation: Prepare detailed evaluation reports for suppliers, CnF agents, freight forwarders, and transport & logistics agencies.Insurance processing:
∎ Bank document verification by the beneficiary
∎ Documentation exchange and verification
∎ Claim management
∎ Goods survey and inspection
∎ Logistics Coordination:
