Additional Requirements:
  • Minimum 08 years of relevant experience in banking/financial services, with at least 05 years in card sales leadership.

  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales and acquisition targets.

  • Excellent knowledge of credit/debit card markets, customer segments, and competitive landscape.

  • Proven ability to manage large sales teams and drive productivity.

  • Strong relationship management skills with corporate, merchants, and distribution partners.

  • Ability to conceptualize and execute innovative sales campaigns.



Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Manager of Card Sales to lead and expand our card acquisition and sales portfolio. This role will be responsible for driving sales strategies, managing large teams, strengthening distribution channels, and delivering strong business growth in line with the bank’s retail and digital banking ambitions.

  • Lead the sales strategy and execution for credit, debit, and prepaid cards.

  • Drive new customer acquisition, portfolio expansion, and revenue growth.

  • Build and manage sales channels including direct sales, branches, corporate tie-ups, merchant partnerships, and digital channels.

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales force with clear KPIs and incentive frameworks.

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, risk, and operations teams to deliver seamless customer journeys.

  • Develop and implement campaigns, offers, and partnerships to boost card usage and penetration.

  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations and internal credit/risk policies.

  • Track performance metrics, prepare sales dashboards, and report to senior management regularly.

  • Mentor and inspire the sales team to achieve both short-term targets and long-term growth.
