Job Responsibilities:
∎ Leads business development activities of products and/or services to Local or Multinational companies
∎ The qualification of new business opportunities via new business meetings to ensure a good fit with the agency's experience and ways of working
∎ Maintains key business development contacts with current and potential customers
∎ Evaluates and manages new business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures
∎ Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs
∎ Provides leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing of strategic business objectives
∎ Directs the development of short- and long-range objectives and recommends goals to higher management
∎ Diligent nurturing of the pipeline to ensure regular, relevant contact with previous prospects and accurate reporting of the new business pipeline including weekly reports to management.
∎ Supporting the department leads in RFP, pitch, and proposal activity.
∎ Regularly update the agency's website with articles, content and case studies and creative an agency monthly newsletter.
∎ Managing their social media profiles with support from the wider team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Proven track record in business development, achieving ambitious revenue targets.
∎ Minimum 4+ years' of experience operating in a business development role with good working knowledge of digital marketing agency.
∎ Experience of working in a similar role for a creative/ad agency.
∎ Experience in social selling.
∎ Ability to conduct incisive desk research into sectors, target companies, and individual prospects.
∎ Articulate and confident communicator - ability to think quickly and creatively when talking to prospects.
∎ An instinct for creative selling - we're not working from scripts, and you will be expected to create tailored approaches for each prospect.
∎ A desire to work in a close knit, highly successful team with clear accountability.
∎ Bags of energy and dedication, with the ability to thrive in a fluid and entrepreneurial environment.
∎ Gravitas and instant credibility internally and externally.
∎ Self-starter and proactive individual and team player.
