• B. Sc. in Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering/ Biochemistry and Molecular Biology or Microbiology from any reputed University with good academic record

• Preferably 10-12 years of progressive experience in the relevant field, particularly within Biotech or related laboratory environments.

• Specialist in cell culture laboratory handling with extensive experience in biological assay method development and optimization.

• Minimum experience requirements may be relaxed for candidates with exceptional qualifications

Job Description

• Ensure timely release of Biotech and MAbs products to meet market demand.

• Perform biological assay of biosimilar products and lead cell culture laboratory.

• Conduct testing of all raw materials and finished products related to Biotech and MAbs drugs.

• Perform cell line revival, passaging, and maintenance of various cell lines.

• Prepare SOPS, STPs, and other GMP documents as required.

• Conduct and monitor GMP and SOP training for departmental staff.

• Oversee calibration and qualification of all instruments in the Biotechnology Department.

• Ensure proper laboratory waste management in compliance with safety guidelines.

• Maintain and manage laboratory reference standards and working standards.

• Carry out departmental self-inspections and ensure Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) are maintained at all times.

• Ensure availability of all required reagents, consumables, and materials.

• Supervise other operational and administrative activities as required.

• Carry out other responsibilities assigned by management
