Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Quality Management: Lead the quality assurance team to ensure all products meet company standards and customer expectations. Oversee quality processes from pre-production to final inspection.
∎ Pre-Production Planning: Attend PPMs (Pre-Production Meetings) to discuss quality requirements, anticipate potential defects, and develop preventive measures.
∎ Inspection and Evaluation: Monitor end-line AQL (Acceptable Quality Level), pre-final, and final inspections. Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
∎ Team Coordination: Motivate and manage the quality team, ensuring they understand quality standards and follow established procedures. Provide guidance and training to improve the team's skills and competency.
∎ Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Keep up-to-date with changes in product quality laws and standards.
∎ Resource Management: Maintain an efficient carder allocation within budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources for quality assurance processes.
∎ Reporting: Generate regular reports on quality performance, audit findings, and corrective actions. Communicate critical quality issues with top management and other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Continuous Improvement: Analyze quality data and performance trends to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies for continuous enhancement of quality standards.
