Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance or, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting & Information System, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Commerce
∎ Completed CA/ACCA / FCCA professional courses from reputed CA firm will be privileged.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
∎ Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
∎ Should have very good knowledge in accounting software.
∎ Supervise and manage general ledger accounting functions.
∎ Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
∎ Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
∎ Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
∎ Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.
∎ Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
∎ Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
∎ Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.
∎ Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
∎ Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
∎ Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Skills Required: Accounting and Finance, Auditing, Banking, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax.
