• Additional certification in IB Teacher Librarian training will be considered an advantage.

• Proven experience in supporting inquiry-based learning, academic research, and citation practices.

• High proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is essential.

• Enthusiastic and empathetic attitude towards working with young learners.

• Goal-oriented and able to manage tasks effectively under pressure.

• Proficiency in MS Office, G Suite and Library Management software is essential.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Passionate about promoting a culture of academic integrity and supporting students in developing lifelong learning skills.

• Manage the school library, curating a collection of high-quality physical and digital resources to support the curriculum.

• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library services into classroom instruction, particularly focusing on research and project-based learning.

• Teach and mentor students in academic research methods, including critical evaluation of sources, citation, and referencing (APA, MLA, IB-specific styles), ensuring adherence to academic honesty.

• Provide support for students working on major projects like the PYP Exhibition, IB Diploma Programme Extended Essay, and Internal Assessments, guiding research, ethical use of resources, and organization of information.

• Use digital tools such as Web 2.0 technologies, social bookmarking, and web annotation to create engaging and interactive research experiences for students.

• Act as a resource for students in navigating online databases, academic journals, and other primary sources effectively.

• Foster a collaborative relationship with faculty members to develop research-based learning materials and support student outcomes.
