Responsibilities & Context:

Serve as on-site head of institution in the Principal's absence, exercising full operational authority across Pre-Primary (PlayGroup–KG), Primary (Class 1–5), and Secondary (Class 6–9). Directly lead Secondary Section as interim Coordinator until permanent appointment. Prepare academic structures for Class 10 launch (January 2027) and Classes 11–12 (2028) while maintaining 90%+ student performance targets.

OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP : Manage day-to-day functioning: timetables, duty rosters, class coverage, campus operations. Oversee teacher attendance with zero tolerance for disruption; arrange immediate substitute coverage when staff are absent. Maintain student discipline at institutional level—handle serious misconduct including suspension/expulsion with due process. Manage physical environment: cleanliness, maintenance, safety infrastructure (CCTV, biometric access, fire safety). Oversee transportation system: 8 GPS-tracked buses serving 15km radius—ensure safety, punctuality, route compliance. Maintain official school calendar and authorize documents (bonafide letters, testimonials, transfer certificates, student records).

ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT:Own academic quality across all sections. Review and approve master timetable; arbitrate departmental conflicts. Conduct regular classroom observations providing structured, developmental feedback. Lead examination management cycle—planning, invigilation scheduling, mark sheet processing, results declaration, and Education Board compliance. Ensure NCTB curriculum standards enhanced with STEAM enrichment. Oversee student progress monitoring; identify underperforming students early and ensure intervention. Plan and chair Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) each semester. coordinate with Islamic Studies faculty on progress, milestones, and completion ceremonies. Manage admissions process, assessment criteria, and enrollment targets. Support expansion roadmap preparation.

STAFF LEADERSHIP & HR: Act as first-level HR authority for all teaching and support staff—manage attendance, leave, disciplinary action, and conflict resolution. Submit hiring/dismissal recommendations to Principal with documented justification. Design structured induction programmes for new teachers. Lead monthly and annual performance appraisals using observation forms and student outcome data. Identify training needs and coordinate professional development (internal workshops and external opportunities). Mentor junior and mid-career teachers fostering pedagogical excellence. Champion staff wellbeing—address workload, recognize contributions, build positive culture. Manage Staff HR Register (contracts, qualifications, training history, appraisals). Resolve inter-staff conflicts with fairness and Islamic principles of Adl and Rahmah.

STUDENT AFFAIRS & WELFARE: Serve as ultimate guardian of student welfare—safety, health, emotional wellbeing, academic progress. Oversee Student Health & First Aid system; ensure trained first aid staff present and maintain clinic partnerships. Chair Student Disciplinary Committee for serious cases; document decisions and communicate to parents. Lead Scholarship Programme (currently supporting 125 students, 25% of enrollment)—review applications with confidentiality and fairness. Oversee extracurriculars: Robotics Club, Science Club, Debating Society, Language Club, Sports, Environmental Club, Leadership Academy. Manage Student Activities Calendar with budgets and assessment criteria. Respond to student/parent complaints—investigate thoroughly, resolve fairly, escalate when required. Ensure rigorous child safeguarding protocols.

FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT: Review and approve monthly fee collection reports. Authorize procurement of academic materials and supplies ensuring value for money and transparent documentation. Prepare monthly financial summaries for Principal. Oversee asset management—ensure registration, maintenance, and accounting. Monitor scholarship fund disbursements for 125+ students ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Work with Accounts Manager on annual budget preparation. Identify and report financial irregularities immediately.

EXTERNAL RELATIONS & COMPLIANCE: Serve as primary representative to Bangladesh Education Board, NCTB, BANBEIS, and government education offices. Ensure timely BANBEIS Annual Data Submission and all regulatory reporting. Maintain Education Board compliance—student registrations, examination enrollments, SSC/JSC procedures. Build relations with Union Parishad, Upazila Education Office, and local government. Represent Academy at district/national forums, conferences, and awards. Lead community engagement: parent workshops, health camps, free Quran programme. Manage media and public relations maintaining reputation as model institution.

COMMITTEE LEADERSHIP & COMMUNICATION:Chair weekly SEMC meetings—set agenda, facilitate discussion, ensure decisions recorded and executed. Manage SEMC transition smoothly maintaining team morale. Provide Principal with: daily summary reports (events, incidents, decisions), weekly briefings (academic progress, staff matters, events), monthly institutional reports (KPIs, financial summary, welfare, performance). Implement Principal's strategic directives. Maintain Decision Log for Level 3+ decisions (rationale, parties consulted, outcomes).
