Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s in Law (LLM) preferred.
Enrollment as an Advocate in Bangladesh Bar Council is an added advantage.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in corporate legal affairs, preferably in RMG, manufacturing, or large group of companies.
Strong knowledge of company, labor, and commercial law.
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
Strong communication and analytical ability.
Good liaison skills with regulatory bodies and law firms.
Integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Reports To: Managing Director / Head of HR & Admin
Main Purpose:
Provide expert legal advice and support to management on all business, contractual, labor, and compliance matters to protect the company’s interests and ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and vet all legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
Advise management on corporate, commercial, and labor laws relevant to the company’s operations.
Handle legal notices, disputes, and litigation in coordination with external counsel.
Ensure company compliance with labor laws, environmental regulations, and buyer compliance requirements.
Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitration, and negotiations when necessary.
Maintain and update all legal records, licenses, and regulatory documents.
Liaise with government offices, law enforcement, and external stakeholders on legal matters.
Conduct legal risk assessments and recommend preventive measures.
Support HR and Admin departments in disciplinary actions, employee disputes, and compliance issues.
Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and compliance requirements affecting the RMG/retail industry.
