Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate should have at least LL.B/ LLM Degree and also member of Bar Council.
∎ Skills Required: Compliance, Labor Law

∎ 12 to 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perusal of Legal documents i.e., to go through each and every piece of documents for connection of subject matter, shortage wanting, verification of genuineness at Registry Office, AC(Land) Office, RAJUK etc, identification of Government interest and finally giving Legal Opinion.
∎ To search for eligibility of a project on the proposed land at RAJUK, CDA, KDA, RDA, CoxDA, PWD etc.
∎ To prepare different kinds of Deeds such as MoU, Sale Deed, Purchase Deed, General Power of Attorney, Irrevocable Power of Attorney, Foreign Power, Joint Venture Agreement, Partition Deed, Declaration Deed, Baina Deed, Legal Notice, Cases etc.
∎ To take necessary step for Sale Permission from concern Authority and conduct Registration, pre-registration, post-registration of Baina, Sale Deed, Power Deed, Declaration Deed etc. and coordinating with Procurement Team.
∎ To collect Certified copy of Deeds from Registry Office, Khatians from DC Office, Mouza Maps from DC/Settlement office and Certified copy of Cases from Courts.
∎ To Coordinate land related all legal matters and maintain liaison with various Govt. & Non-Govt. organizations as Dc Office, AC Land Office, Sub Registry Office, Tahsil Office and Land Dispute Court etc.
∎ To file Mutation application at AC(Land) Office, attend at the Hearing and finally collection of Mutation Khatian and pay land tax.
∎ To apply at different government offices for approval of LUC, Lay out plan, Fire, Environmental, PWD, Aviation, Traffic NOC etc. and collection of those NOCs from those Departments.
∎ To maintain Register for all Original documents and keep those documents in safe custody.
∎ To FIR & GDs to relevant Police Station, Court, and Administrative Body, coordinate and maintain liaison with the Administrative Body & Panel Lawyer.
∎ To maintain Case Register and all Case related documents and take follow up of those Cases and update time to time & collect Case related documents from the Court.
∎ To scan legal documents and archive those documents properly.
∎ Lead and oversee legal functions including determining objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal control; ensuring all legal activities are in compliance with the Law of the Land.
∎ Provide accurate legal advice to management to ensure that decisions taken are legally correct and that the company's interests are protected.
∎ Possess practicing capabilities at premium courts & handling all legal disputes & litigation, coordinating with the external counsels, assisting in drafting of petitions, writs, suits, appearing in the courts on behalf of the company and undertaking the strategy aspects of litigation.
∎ Maintain liaison with external authorities like Government & Non-Government authorities; External counsels/lawyers; third party vendors and suppliers for legal matters.
∎ Lead and oversee functions of Land, its Legal management, Litigation (Civil/ Criminal/ Corporate) Co-ordination and Managing External legal counsel, Contract Management, legal operations.
∎ Supervise business units in interpretation of laws with respect to land, construction, real estate and environment applicable to the business.
∎ Negotiate, drafting of appeals & suits, written statements, reply rejoinders of various cases and coordinate relating to the land issue.
∎ Check, verify and provide opinion on all kinds of Land related vetting, (Title Deed, Baya Deed, Khatians, Dags, DCRs of CS, SA, RS, BS, commissioning etc.)
∎ Any other job assigned by the management time to time.
∎ Should have good knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Act 2006, Amendment act -2013, 2018, and Bangladesh Labor Rules. Should face any sue in labour court or any other court in Bangladesh.
∎ Should have good knowledge on Bangladesh Company rules/acts and have to attend any arbitration on behalf of company interest.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 12 to 15 year(s) of relevant work experience and having ample experience in Legal & Land functions in a large conglomerate of Bangladesh.
∎ Knowledge on Contract Act, Civil Act, Power of Attorney Act, Transfer & Registration of Properties related Act and others.
∎ Good Liaison / Communication Skill with Govt. & Non- Govt. personnel / Officers.
∎ Possess modern and contemporary administrative management skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Strong drafting and vetting skills.
∎ Analyzing and Advising on Legal Risk Management.
∎ Excellent writing skills both in English & Bangla.
∎ Experience in Court matters is preferable. Membership of the High Court Bar is preferred.
