Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understand the business and spearhead from QA perspective the creation, grooming and vetting business requirements, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements
∎ Set the testing strategy to meet business objectives
∎ · Evaluate, select, and implement test automation technologies for testing Web, Mobile Apps and API
∎ · Create a documented, repeatable test methodology
∎ · Work as a key spokesperson for the QA team
∎ · Identify risks and opportunities and communicate those to senior Leaders to act on those
∎ · Ensure that the appropriate level of QA automation is integrated in the DevOps pipeline
∎ · Write and maintain end-to-end automated tests using Espresso, Appium, Selenium, Rspec, Protractor, ZAP or other test automation tools
∎ · Perform UI testing, black box, functional, automated regression and performance, security and burn-in testing
∎ · Design and build tools for running tests
∎ · Research solutions for scaling and improving performance
∎ · Work with the rest of the engineering team to identify, troubleshoot and fix bugs
∎ · Identify and execute on opportunities to improve the QA process
∎ · Actively participate in agile process, including acting as the SCRUM Master, as needed, for the daily scrum
∎ · Provide critical communications, including release announcements, quality metrics and other reports to the relevant stakeholders
∎ · Work with engineering and support teams to triage inbound bug reports and reproduce reported issues
∎ · Perform other relevant activities and assignments based on business needs and at the direction of the Technology Leadership

∎ · Expertise in test automation and tools/frameworks (e.g. Cucumber/Gherkin, Espresso, Selenium Grid, Junit, SOAP-UI, Eclipse, Jenkins, Ant, Maven, Visual Studio, JIRA, etc
∎ · Familiarity in one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g. Java/JQuery, Javascript, Python/Jython, Ruby, Groovy, C#, .Net, VBScript, SQL, etc)
∎ · Clear understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies (Angular, REST etc.)
∎ · Exposure to platforms/OS/Servers (e.g., Windows Server, Linux/Unix, J2EE, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, etc.)
∎ · Excellent understanding of database technologies (MySQL, Postgress etc.) and SQL
∎ · Practical understanding of the Agile development processes and DevOps tools and practices (Jenkins, Jira etc.)
∎ · Excellent communication skills
∎ · Ability to influence a team
∎ · Ability to inspire team members and coach them to grow
∎ · Must have a keen eye to recognize potential problem areas and/or edge cases
∎ · Methodical and detail oriented, with solid analytical skills and problem solving ability
∎ · Good collaborator, get along with others, and are able to work effectively in a team
∎ · Dedicated to quality and a positive, collaborative attitude and approach to testing
