Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in medical technology (Group Laboratory medicine)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall Experience and Management: Laboratory (Gene expert Machine mainly)
∎ Maintaining daily patients PRESCRIP-TEC register for Pathology.
∎ Submits Report to the Report delivery section, indoor & outdoor doctors/MIS/HO on duty.
∎ Maintain Sterility & Cleanliness of Lab & Collection room
∎ Technical responsibilities:
∎ Monthly requisition of reagents, Stationaries, Chemicals & Consumable items for pathology lab PRESCRIP-TEC.
∎ Informing Hospital Manager about any problem with the equipment. (Gene expert Machine)
∎ Making monthly report and send it to hospital Doctor/MIS/HO. Any work assigned as per advice from higher authority.
∎ Quality Assurances:
∎ General Maintenance and cleanliness of the laboratory (Gene expert Machine)
∎ Maintain & monitor infection prevention procedures as per protocol.
∎ Sample care issues:
∎ Need to take proper care of the Biological HPV sample
∎ Need to maintain register and SMS of the result
∎ Send SMS to the FCMs and Beneficiaries and communicate to ensure if the SMSs is seen and received
∎ Working environment:
∎ The own service area will be his or her own responsibility, everything related to this room will be his or her own duty and accountability to be fulfilled.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Practical Experience in NGOs and recognized Clinics / Hospitals will be treated as additional qualification.
∎ Good behavioral, communication and organizational skills.
∎ Ability to work in the field site.
∎ Prepare logistics for specimen collection.
∎ Ensure specimen Quality maintained within cold chain and proper documentation.
∎ Ensure specimen handover from the FCMs with proper documentation and signature
∎ Maintain regular internal and external quality control according to SOP.
∎ Repeat and recheck the analysis before final delivery of investigation reports.
∎ Regular feedback to HO and FCMs
∎ Maintain proper disposal of biohazards specimens.
