Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lab assistants are often responsible for preparing paint samples according to specific formulations provided by researchers or chemists.
∎ They operate and maintain various laboratory equipment used in paint formulation and testing, such as mixers, mills, viscometers, and spectrophotometers.
∎ Lab assistants perform routine tests and analyses on paint samples, including viscosity measurements, color analysis, drying time assessments, and adhesion testing.
∎ They may be involved in quality control procedures, ensuring that paint batches meet specified standards and identifying any deviations.
∎ Lab assistants manage the inventory of chemicals and raw materials used in paint formulation, ensuring that the necessary supplies are available.
∎ Accurate record-keeping is essential. Lab assistants document experimental procedures, observations, and test results. This documentation is critical for maintaining quality and for future reference.
∎ Lab assistants adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. This includes proper handling and disposal of chemicals and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
∎ Good understanding of laboratory information systems and automated laboratory equipment.
∎ A critical thinker with strong attention to detail.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Outstanding analytical abilities.
