∎ Diploma in Medical Technology from government approved institution.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in buffers mixing required for processing patient specimens in lab.
∎ Coordinate placing orders for inventory supplies needed in lab.
∎ Involve in experiments delivery and needed supplies.
∎ Provide delivery of package and label solutions.
∎ Maintain and manage cage washroom.
∎ Ensure sanitation of washroom area, cages and equipment.
∎ Head responsibility of equipment and feed storage areas maintenance.
∎ Update routine records of cage sanitation and wash chemical supply usage.
∎ Report cage equipment and chemical requirements to supervisor.
∎ Supervise stocked chemicals for right storage.
∎ Lead and direct general housekeeping of lab.
∎ Prepare chemical waste, disposal forms, reagents and experiments solutions.
∎ Ensure to dispose outdated components appropriately.
∎ Ensure to return recycle chemicals from labs.
∎ Head responsibility for collecting patient specimens required for processing in lab.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven working experience as a Lab Assistant
∎ Familiarity with automated laboratory equipment
∎ Computer literacy and experience with Laboratory Information Systems
∎ Accuracy and close attention to detail
∎ Strong analytical judgement
∎ Current license or relevant certification
∎ BS degree in Medical Technology, Biology or related field
