About LP4Y:

Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y) is a federation of 17 organizations across 14 countries dedicated to developing innovative solutions for the global inclusion of young people (17-24 years old) who face extreme poverty and exclusion. 

Approximately 85% of LP4Y beneficiaries are young women, many of whom are young mothers. To ensure their success in our programs, which run five days a week from early morning until late afternoon, reliable childcare is essential. 

LP4Y has established Little Angels Academies (LAA) to provide a safe, nurturing environment where the children of these young mothers can thrive. In line with our mission to empower women, LAAs also welcome the children of star mothers (alumni) and employed mothers, enabling them to fully dedicate themselves to their new professional lives.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LAA Catalyst to support young mothers participating in our training programs by providing high-quality care

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care and supervision for 10-15 children, aged 6 months to 5 years.
• Organize and lead various activities (creative, sports, language, LAA shows) that stimulate the children’s development.
• Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Ensure the environment is safe, clean.
• Attend to the children's hygiene needs, including cleaning and changing them as necessary.
• Maintain a well-managed budget and oversee financial aspects of the LAA.
• Schedule regular medical check-ups
• Organize excursions for the children.
• Conduct awareness sessions for mothers on topics related to child care and development.

• Requirements:
  • Must be a woman
  • A motivation letter and resume.
  • Experience and/or a diploma in childcare
  • Must be 18 years or older.
• Work Conditions:
  • Working time: 9:AM to 5:30PM
  • Work days : From Sunday to Thursday based on 8 hours/day
  • Holidays : 24 days off for 12 months contracts
• This mission is a 12 months contract and renewable.
