∎ 2. OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
∎ The Project Coordinator will administer and assist management of all project activities in cooperation with and under the direction of the KT manager. He/She is responsible for providing comprehensive information and documentation on progress of activities and projects in different areas. He/She will be in charge of Monitoring and Evaluation working in coordination with EWS KT ME Lead. He/She will be a contact point for partner organizations.
∎ 3. SCOPE:
∎ EWS-KT aspires to grow its current portfolio and to support this growth operational complexity will be adherent. Managing information needed by the different stakeholders requires organizational and analytical skills. Providing up to date and accurate information on administration, accounting, HR and progress of activities will support and guide the management team in decision making and ease communication with stakeholders.
∎ This position is responsible for:
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation, implement and support M&E providing accurate and up to date information on progress and impact of project activities
∎ Providing staff with support in computer (google), in KT App (KT data analysis software) and reporting, any other data based (PMS) required to operationalize KT BD
∎ Communication:
∎ report writing,
∎ support of extension material - translation and photos
∎ Focal point of data & monitoring
∎ Assisting Management team in managing project activities, preparing project proposals, decision making
∎ 4. WORK RELATIONSHIPS:
∎ The project coordinator will report to the KT manager. He/she will work under the direction of the KT manager. He/she will work in close coordination with a team approach Finance Manager, Technical Manager, Digital Media Specialists, Field Fin & Ops Officer and Technical Supervisors to act as a monitoring and data focal point for KT BD.
∎ He/she will train field staff in entering data in KT App and any other data based software (i.e. HR Master data, Fixed Asset Register, PMS etc) required to launch in future. He/she will coordinate Monitoring and Evaluation with EWS KT Data Lead.
∎ 5. DECISION MAKING LEVEL / LIMITS OF AUTHORITY:
∎ He/she will report to KT manager and will ensure staff adhere to policies and regulations and are able to provide accurate information in a timely manner. He/she will liaise with ISSD regularly. He/she will closely follow implementations of the activities with support of Technical Manager & Technical Supervisors.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position is responsible for providing functional direction, oversight and coordination for the
∎ following result areas
∎ Coordinate activities, resources, and information:
∎ Help prepare project proposals, timeframes, schedule and budget
∎ Logistical organization and preparation of training in country
∎ Follow up and advise on the use of new technology KT staff
∎ Be proactive in problem solving
∎ Report and escalate to management as needed
∎ Ensure project operations adhere to EWS KT policies and regulations
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation:
∎ Supervise the implementation of field activities
∎ Implement and follow Monitoring and Evaluation tools
∎ Participate actively in the elaboration and reviews of the ME system for project activities
∎ Visit project areas when necessary
∎ Monitor and track project's progress and handle any issues that arise. (demo farm records - training participation - monitoring data from partners)
∎ Coordinate with EWS M&E KT Lead.
∎ Produce a Monthly analysis of data in report format and attendance participants to inform team manager
∎ Archive photos from field visits and demo plots
∎ Be proactive, and creative
∎ Participate in the elaboration of projects proposal
∎ Prepare groundwork for project proposals in terms of logistics, budget, data under the direction of the KT manager.
∎ Gather information on pilot phase ideas and innovations
∎ Communication, point of contact:
∎ Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to EWS KT, partners and other stakeholders,
∎ Support Digital Media Specialist to coordinate and liaise with partners and EWS (HQ level)
∎ Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
Additional Requirements:

∎ At least 1 year of experience in M&E/data analyst
∎ Knowledge and experience in Monitoring and Evaluation
∎ Good understanding of vegetable production and marketing in Bangladesh .
∎ Excellent internal communication skills
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bangla and English languages.
∎ Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
∎ Independent thinking, practically oriented, and good and fast decision making
∎ An analytical mind with problem-solving skills, analytical skills in qualitative and quantitative data.
∎ Able to use different data analysis software like SPSS, XLSTAT, R Studio
∎ Able to extract data from software, analyze and write management reports, annual reports & donor reports.
∎ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google and of project management tools.
∎ Good team player able to work together with the various local organization
∎ The candidate must be physically fit as this job requires 50% work to be done Dhaka HQ and 50% travel to field
