Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's Degree in Mass Communication/ Climate Change & Development/ Environmental Science/ Development Studies/Disaster Management/ Social Science/ Economics, and any other relevant field.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop a clear understanding of the Helvetas Bangladesh vision, the "Climate Change and Sustainable Development" program, and the current and upcoming projects under the program portfolio and its current knowledge management practices.
∎ Ensure updated and emerging knowledge and information in the climate change sector including climate change adaptation, climate change mitigation, and loss and damage.
∎ Follow the dynamics, trends, and changes in the global climate change policy and political frameworks/ structures including the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
∎ Identify potential undocumented knowledge within the program and target audience, define knowledge generation methods and tools, and apply them on the ground as applicable.
∎ Process the contents with support from the program team and technical advice from the Communication Advisor, validate the draft knowledge products with the stakeholders including the project team at partners and the community on the ground.
∎ Design the knowledge products according to the branding and communication guidelines of Helvetas with the support of the IT and communication team, manage vendors and external resources for the design work of the knowledge products as applicable.
∎ Get engaged with national and global levels events with the support of the team, map knowledge dissemination opportunities and develop a knowledge dissemination plan.
∎ Coordinate knowledge dissemination initiatives and customize knowledge products as applicable.
∎ Communicate with a wider audience for knowledge dissemination and play the role of communication for any knowledge management event organized by Helvetas.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 2 years' experience in knowledge management preferably in the non-profit sector with reputed national and international NGOs.
∎ Understanding of knowledge management principles and foundations, knowledge management systems and tools
∎ Analytical skills in culture, learning, and community practices
∎ Abilities to identify issues from the ground in consultation with the most affected group of people and produce knowledge products independently
∎ Good English writing skill
∎ Skills in operating MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Publishers, and in the use of virtual platforms, and different technologies for digital communication.

Salary:
∎ 12 months national employment contract with salary range BDT. 90,000/- to 100,000/- including all benefits (PF, Gratuity, Festival Bonus, Insurance, and others as per HR policy). Based on fund availability and individual performance, the contract would be extended.
