Understanding of QA culture in Scrum methodology.
Have a primary understanding of ISO 9000 standards.
Can write reporting documents.
Knowing Jasmine, Selenium, Jmeter or Postman is not mandatory but appreciated.
Analytical mindset.
Objective evaluation skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
We are hiring a Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to test our iOS and Android mobile applications and Web platforms. We’re looking for someone SMART, a quick learner, and truly dedicated. Job Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing especially and also perform automated testing of iOS/ Android Apps and the Web.
Documentation of software defects, using a bug tracking system and reporting defects to software developers using JIRA.
Preparation of test cases and implementation of all cross-platform test suites.
Research and analyze product features being tested.
Implement new tools, technologies, and testing processes as per industry standards.
Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality.
Perform and document risk analysis and test cases.
Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing.
Identify any potential problems that users might encounter.
Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
Ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness to mitigate risks.
Provide the QA Lead with accurate and precise estimates for test automation activities, along with confidence levels and foreseeable dependencies.
