Core Technical & Artistic Skills:

• Expert-Level Color Sense: Exceptional understanding of color grading, LUTs, blending modes, and visual composition.

• Effects Analysis: Strong technical aptitude for breaking down complex video and photo effects into reproducible, step-by-step processes.

• Motion & UI: Expert in UI animation, app transitions, text animation, and visual effects.

• Software Mastery: Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. Basic understanding of Figma and Adobe XD.

• Asset Creation: Skilled in creating engaging overlays, transition effects, promotional motion content, and optimized Lottie animations for mobile applications.

• Audio/Video: Proficiency in Audio-Visual Editing and syncing motion with sound.

• Animation Types: Experience with 2D Character Animation, path animation, and shape animation.

Others:

• Experience working on iOS app-related motion graphics is highly preferred.

• Candidates with strong AI workflow knowledge and a proven ability to leverage AI tools for creative generation will get extra priority

We are looking for a highly creative, technically sound, and passionate Motion Designer to join our growing iOS app development team. Your primary mission will be to spearhead the creation of a comprehensive visual filter library. You will act as the vital bridge between art and technology, using your advanced color sense to guide our talented shader engineers in translating visual concepts into code.

The ideal candidate has a deep analytical eye for visual trends able to look at a complex visual effect (like those trending on CapCut) and immediately reverse-engineer the filters, color grades, and technical layers needed to replicate it.

Beyond visual effects, you will also create high-quality motion assets, engaging promotional videos, and smooth in-app animations that enhance user experience and brand identity. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative mobile applications and collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to building visually stunning digital products.

Key Responsibilities

Visual Effects & Filter Library (Primary Focus):

• Reverse-Engineer Effects: Analyze trending visual effects (e.g., from CapCut, TikTok, etc.) to identify the specific filters, color adjustments, and technical layers used, and define clear pathways for our team to build them.

• Guide Shader Engineers: Act as the artistic director for our technical shader writers, providing the "color sense" and visual direction they need to create flawless programmed effects.

• Build the Library: Lead the conceptualization, design, and curation of a comprehensive, in-house visual filter and effects library.

• Innovate: Take ownership of designing and creating entirely new, proprietary visual effects and filters for our applications.

Motion Graphics & App Animation:

• Create high-quality motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects.

• Design smooth and modern in-app animations for iOS mobile applications.

• Create UI transitions, text effects, overlays, micro-interactions, and visual effects.

• Produce promotional videos and app preview videos for marketing campaigns and app stores.

• Create and export optimized Lottie animations for mobile apps.

• Implement path animation and shape animation techniques effectively.

• Develop engaging motion assets that align with app branding and user experience.

• Incorporate typography, sound design, and visual effects to enhance motion content.

• Optimize animations for different mobile app performance, screen sizes, and resolutions.

Workflow & Collaboration:

• Utilize AI-assisted tools to generate creative assets, speed up the production workflow, and maintain fast turnaround times.

• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, app developers, and creative team members.

• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting strict deadlines.
