Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc/ M.Sc in apparel manufacturing/ wet processing from any UGC approved university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Merchandising, Production Management (Dyeing & Finishing), Production Management (Knitting & Weaving)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinates with Planning Manager to determine delivery schedule (date) and sequence of implementing all order in the lines
∎ Prepares order wise BOM (Bill of Materials) and giving opinion to prepare SPO (Supplier Purchase Order)
∎ Co-ordinates with production team
∎ Mitigates issues (order quantities, change of shipment date, complaints and claims) raised by the buyer(s)/ buying office(s)
∎ Be informed about all final inspection and gives support if necessary
∎ Directs tasks related to pattern and sample making
∎ Generates fabric work order
∎ Sources required accessories
∎ Provides technical guidance to sample supervisor/ sample man
∎ Ensures buying office merchandisers receive right sample in the right time with right quality
∎ Participates in weekly sample management meetings.
