Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
Plan seasonal jewelry ranges using market trends and sales insights.
Source suppliers, negotiate terms, and track production timelines.
Maintain product BOMs, costing accuracy, and required profit margins.
Inspect sample finishing, gemstone specs, and design compliance.
Manage the product calendar for on-time collection launches.
Partner with design, marketing, and retail to optimize inventory.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Fashion, Merchandising, BBA, Jewelry Design, or related field.
Minimum 8 years experience in jewelry/fashion merchandising or product development.
·Strong understanding of jewelry products, materials, gemstones and production processes.
Strong vendor-management and negotiation skills with a commercial and analytical mindset
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with a sound understanding of costing and margins.
