∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Accounts, Internal Audit, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)

Job Context:
∎ Friends in Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is going to recruit the position of Internal Auditor. This position is based at central office of FIVDB. The job may be regularized after completion of 6 months of probation period under FIVDB`s pay-scale, rules and regulations subject to satisfactory performance.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support preparing monthly and yearly audit plan.
∎ Ensure the routine internal/financial audit of FIVDB.
∎ Prepare and submit monthly audit report (including observation, effect and recommendations) on financial statements and operational activities to improve accounting and management practices.
∎ Prepare and implement Corrective Action Plan (CAP) on donors? representative?s findings and suggestions.
∎ Prepare management response on the findings of the external auditors.
∎ Provide support to the project management to ensure compliance with donors and organizational policies, standards, procedures and government requirements.
∎ Ensure tax and VAT calculation properly and deduction at source.
∎ Provide Support to ensure budgetary control.
∎ Provide support to ensure proper inventory of resources of all level.
∎ Work as a representative of ?Finance & Administration? department to the external audit team and the donors? monitoring team/ representatives.
∎ Undertake activities upon delegation from the Director, Finance & Administration in accordance with the delegation structure guided by the Executive Director.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to Work in a team environment .
∎ Knowledge on finance and administrative policy.
∎ Problem solving ability in technical aspects
∎ Good command in both written and spoken English
∎ Good command in MS-Office package;

Salary: Tk. 28000 - 32000 (Monthly)
