Job Context:
∎ This is a 6 Months Internship Program of WVB, its objective is to create a pool of competent Youth ready to serve the most vulnerable in Bangladesh with WV Bangladesh.
∎ We are looking for Fresh Graduates who has the passion, dedication and commitment to learn and serve the most vulnerable community in remote areas of Bangladesh.
∎ We expect that the intern will be able to have hands-on experience with the areas of Finance & Accounting as per organizational design, applying the principle that 70% is on job training, 20% is the Mentoring & Coaching that intern shall receive from all the players in the team and 10% is the Formal Training that the intern shall receive to support the learning journey.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Data Tracking: Support to manage all supply chain data input and analysis for the monthly reporting of the Supply Chain Key performance indicators.
∎ Analysis & Modeling: Collect and analyze market, internal data, analyze category and spend data. Support supplier selection activities including qualitative and quantitative analysis, selection criteria, long and short lists. Provide weekly Supply Chain performance/status report on all open purchase requisitions. Evaluate the data collected through task analysis, business process, surveys and workshops. Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides, and functional specification documents.
∎ Track Purchase order (POs) for deliveries of goods and services: Capture data from the accounts office on payments to the suppliers for the goods and services delivered to WVB.
∎ Management of Purchase Request (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) tracking tools and draw management reports: Draw various reports pertaining to procurement on received PRs on a weekly basis and share with the Finance and Supply Chain Directors and share with other stakeholders on a monthly basis. Show any savings in the procurement process in terms of time taken to procure the goods and/or services. Manage any change requests related to the working project plans daily to meet the agreed deadlines. Communicate effectively with external clients and internal teams to deliver product's functional requirements like screen, interface, and designs.
∎ Support to manage the automated ERP System: Operate ProVision (purchasing platform of WVB) for the implementation of the soft system for procurement. Orient users at different levels on operating the ProVision purchasing platform. Asset Tracking, Benefits Tracking, Spend Analysis, Procurement Plans etc. are maintained and running through ProVision.
∎ Reporting: Ensure all required SCM Reports, queries, analysis are generated through ProVision. Assist with proposal analysis, business case development and executive summary presentations. Assist sourcing team to monitor & report supplier performance. Participates in issue resolution, prepare issue reports and escalate issues early and appropriately.
