Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 18 years
  • The Logistics Intern will be engaged under contract until December 31, 2026, renewable contingent upon demonstrated work performance and the availability of budget

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Ability to learn and adapt to logistics software (e.g., LINK).

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Previous internship, volunteer experience, or coursework related to logistics will be considered an added advantage.



Responsibilities & Context:

The Logistics Intern provides support to the Logistics Department in maintaining purchase dossiers, archiving documents, and assisting in day-to-day logistics operations. The role contributes to strengthening logistics systems through administrative support, digital archiving, and operational coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities

Mission 1: LINK Software Cleanup

The intern assists in ensuring proper closure and documentation of purchase dossiers in LINK.

Responsibilities include:

  • Review and close purchase dossiers in LINK software.

  • Upload all relevant documents according to established file structures.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards for digital documentation.

Mission 2: Archiving and Records Management

The intern supports systematic organization of hardcopy records based on LINK softcopy files.

Responsibilities include:

  • Print and compile hardcopy files aligned with LINK documentation.

  • Maintain proper indexing and filing of logistics records.

  • Support archiving of procurement and logistics documents for compliance and audits.

 Mission 3: Logistics Operational Support

The intern assists the Logistics Assistant Officer in daily operational tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support in procurement and supply chain activities.

  • Assist in preparing logistics documentation and reports.

  • Support coordination of logistics events, meetings, and operational requirements.

  • Perform any other tasks delegated by the supervisor or Logistics authority.

Mission 4: Support to Organizational Commitments

The intern contributes to Action Against Hunger’s commitments to gender equality, child protection, and disability sensitivity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understand and apply ACF’s Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies.

  • Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity in handling logistics records and supplier information.
