Educational Requirements:
∎ Essential: Bachelor Degree major in Finance or Accounting
∎ Preferable: Master Degree major in Finance or Accounting
Job Context:
∎ This is a 6-12 Months Internship Program of WVB, its objective is to create a pool of competent Youth ready to serve the most vulnerable in Bangladesh with WV Bangladesh.
∎ We are looking for Fresh Graduates who has the passion, dedication and commitment to learn and serve the most vulnerable community in remote areas of Bangladesh.
∎ We expect that the intern will be able to have hands-on experience with the areas of Finance & Accounting as per organizational design, applying the principle that 70% is on job training, 20% is the Mentoring & Coaching that intern shall receive from all the players in the team and 10% is the Formal Training that the intern shall receive to support the learning journey.
∎ 25% travel is required.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support Finance Team to process all kinds of payment as per World Vision Bangladesh rules & regulation and ensure Compliance with FFM, WVB policies and local Government Regulations.
∎ Support to ensure record keeping and documentation.
∎ Support to ensure Compliance of WVB finance and administrative policies, standard, procedure and Govt. VAT and Tax requirements.
∎ Prepare financial report to meet the standard within the time frame.
∎ Support to ensure Cash management for smooth operations.
∎ Ensure all vouchers are kept in file in a sequential manner.
∎ Prepare vouchers according to the policy and procedure.
∎ Assist Line Manager to segregate the VAT and Tax chalan according to the expenditure.
∎ Assist Line Manager to prepare the monthly financial report.
∎ Assist Line Manager to prepare the cover memo and variance explanation.
∎ Assist Line Manager to prepare the bank reconciliation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 28 years
∎ Effective Communication skills.
∎ Strong analytical skills.
∎ Proven experience as a team player.
∎ Demonstrated collaboration & team building skills.
∎ Strong political awareness and judgment.
∎ Proven ability to write financial report.
∎ Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, ERP Software.
∎ Positive Attitude.
∎ Internal & External customer handling capacity.
∎ Self-Motivated.
∎ Good command in English (reading, writing and speaking).
∎ Must be willing and able to travel 25%.
