Position Title
Intern Civil Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern Civil Engineer to join our engineering and construction team. The intern will assist senior engineers and project managers in site supervision, project documentation, quantity estimation, quality control, and other civil engineering activities. This internship offers practical exposure to real construction projects and engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in supervising construction and site activities
Support preparation of engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documents
Help with quantity surveying, material estimation, and BOQ preparation
Monitor project progress and maintain daily site reports
Conduct site inspections and measurements under supervision
Assist in quality control and material testing activities
Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project team members
Maintain project records, documentation, and filing systems
Support billing, invoicing, and project reporting tasks
Use engineering software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and other design tools.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed Diploma/BSc in Civil Engineering
Basic knowledge of construction methods and engineering principles
Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office applications
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment
Willingness to learn and adapt
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of RCC and steel structure works
Understanding of construction safety procedures
Good analytical and problem-solving ability
