Experience:
Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC).
B.Sc. in Mechanical/Electrical also get additional preference.
At least 8 years’ experience in large scale Ice-cream or Food & Beverages Factory.
Must be Computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office, Excel, Access and E-mail and Internet operation.
Candidate living near Chattogram will be added as advantage.
A. Vehicle Freezing System:
Knowledge of: Vehicle-mounted refrigeration units (Thermo King / Carrier type)
Diesel/electric cooling units.
Ability to: Diagnose cooling failure during transit, Handle compressor, condenser, evaporator issues
Check refrigerant gas (R404A / R134a).
B. Cold Room Management:
Operate & maintain: Walk-in freezers, Hardening rooms.
Maintain: Proper airflow & insulation, Door sealing (very important for energy saving).
C. Daily Responsibilities:
In Factory: Monitor cold room temperature logs.
Check compressor pressure & gas level /Prevent frost buildup in evaporator.
In Vehicle: Pre-cool vehicle before loading, Check temp before dispatch.
Ensure door is not opened frequently during delivery.
Emergency handling if temperature rises
D. Critical Knowledge (Must-Have):
Cold chain management (VERY important for ice cream).
Temperature mapping & logging.
Basic electrical troubleshooting.
Preventive maintenance schedule.
E. Safety Requirements:
Safe handling of refrigerant gas, Electrical safety awareness.
Emergency response (gas leak / system breakdown).
Should have sound knowledge and practice of updated technology and cost controlling technique.
Sound knowledge of Effluent Treatment plant management.
Experience in new project management, development, and execution.
Responsible for the proper preventive maintenance of all machines to avoid breakdown of maintenance.
