Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement IT policies and guidelines to ensure the appropriate use of IT equipment and services in compliance with World Vision International (WVI) Partnership Standard.
∎ Lead, develop and implement World Vision Bangladesh (WVB) ICT processes for a complex infrastructure supporting both internal users based on ITIL.
∎ Plan and develop data center, System Admin and DB operation, infrastructure, procedures and policies.
∎ Manage, overseeing and support overall operation for all MIS/ERP systems.
∎ Provide IT technical support and training to users in ADPs and analysis of user requirements with technical reporting to the managers and NO IT team.
∎ Ensure IT capacity building through training to project staff and dissemination of IT environment, safety and security.
∎ Overall monitoring and provide system related intelligence, forecasting about users, network, risks and facilities.
∎ Regular scheduled maintenance of servers, network equipment and power backups.
∎ Provide on demand day to day support to the customers and remote Offices.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Have knowledge of basic IT systems, internal controls and procedures.
∎ Thorough knowledge and high-level skills and experiences of computer hardware and software installation, configuration and maintenance.
∎ Have basic understanding of commonly used network protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, VPN, FTP etc) as well as routing, switching and fire-walling.
∎ Have knowledge of any of the following is a plus: CA ArcServe/TSM, Microsoft IIS 7.0, Lotus Dominos Server, Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition, Anti-Spam/Anti-Virus.
∎ Knowledge on Lotus Dominos and Lotus Notes is highly preferable.
∎ Knowledge on MIS/DB administration, storage system and clustering.
∎ Have any IT certifications such as MCSA/ MCP/ CCNA/ A+/ Network+ will be given preference.
∎ Have at least 4-6 years of experiences in providing IT technical support, preferably with NGO context and environment will add value.
