• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing hostel to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for nursing staff.
• Ensure that hostel facilities, including rooms, restrooms, kitchen, and common areas, meet health and safety standards.
• Allocate and manage accommodation assignments for nursing staff based on availability and specific needs.
• Implement cleanliness and hygiene protocols to maintain high standards of sanitation throughout the hostel.
• Address and resolve concerns or complaints from nursing staff regarding accommodation or hostel services.
• Maintain security by overseeing proper access control and conducting regular security checks.
• Supervise housekeeping activities, ensuring timely cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
• Provide orientation to new nursing staff, informing them of hostel rules, facilities, and emergency procedures.
• Enforce hostel rules and regulations, ensuring all nursing staff adhere to established protocols.
• Communicate with HR and administration to address the accommodation needs of nursing staff.
• Monitor hostel budget and expenses, ensuring efficient use of hostel resources.
• Plan and organize recreational and wellness activities for nursing staff within the hostel.
• Assess and promote the physical and mental well-being of nursing staff residing in the hostel.
• Respond to emergencies within the hostel, including accidents or security breaches, and report to relevant authorities.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to address repair or maintenance issues in the hostel.
• Keep accurate records of accommodation assignments, incident reports, maintenance logs, and inventory usage.
• Create and maintain a positive, respectful, and supportive environment within the hostel.
• Report regularly to senior management on hostel operations, including occupancy rates and suggestions for improvement.
