∎ Proven expertise in effective public, NGO and private for-profit sector health systems interventions; achieving results in improving ESP services availability through improved capacity building and supervision.

∎ Software Applications: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
∎ Languages: Proven ability to write and speak using Bangla and English

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ First three months of Initial contract and the possibility of extension on an annual basis; starting date – as early as possible.
∎ The project duration is five years, subject to the availability of funds.
∎ Leading and managing local level capacity building initiatives to improve health services
∎ Planning, budgeting, monitoring activities.
∎ Ensuring quality and implementation of project activities.
∎ Mentoring and coaching of district level team members.
∎ Monitoring and utilization of tools and guidelines in project sites
∎ Liaison with national, district and below level health offices and facilities of public, NGOs and private sector
∎ Supporting to implement /adapt new approaches/strategies in public and private health care systems
∎ Review existing technical documents and provide inputs in adapted tools, guidelines and SOPs
∎ Documenting existing capacity building initiatives and impact
∎ Periodic review with teams on plan
∎ Leading and managing capacity building initiative at local level as per project plan.
∎ Informing DCOP and team lead on local initiatives and local level team.
∎ Performing any other duties in line with the roles and responsibilities providing as/when assigned.
∎ Documenting best practices, success and challenges.
∎ Supervise field level officers to ensure implementations of activities in a coordinated fashion.

∎ General:
∎ RTMI is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of HSS specialist for a major donor funded project, which addresses local level health systems in district and below level capacity to deliver quality public health services. The project will help district and upazila managers and their teams through facilitative approach to strengthening local level health system focusing on enhancing local level capacity.
∎ RTMI will work in a consortium to strengthen local level health systems to deliver quality, equitable public health services while optimizing available resources to improve the health status of all Bangladeshis residing at the local level (district and below). We are looking for a dynamic and technically competent individual to support local team of the project to facilitate quality public health services through local managers.
∎ Supervisee: Health System Improvement Officers at different district level
∎ Contract Duration:
