Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
∎ A Master's degree in Public Health is desirable.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure WC/Medair adheres to MOHFW and global health standards through collaborations with related health partners.
∎ Support the day to day implementation, management, supervision and monitoring of the health project in line with the activity plan and time frame.
∎ Conduct field trips to clinics to ensure quality services are provided at all times
∎ Provide input into the integration of beneficiary participation and accountability.
∎ Oversee the process of data collection, collation and dissemination to meet the requirements and deadlines set by Medair and/or external partners.
∎ Ensure accurate and timely reporting of activities for internal and external reports.
∎ Input into the development of the country strategy, new projects and/or donor proposals.
∎ Actively participate in coordination meetings with CiC, SMC, health sector and other Technical working groups
∎ Ensure continuous mentorship and capacity development of clinic staff
∎ Participate at all stages of project cycle, providing technical inputs at each stage to ensure maximum health impacts.
∎ Participate in health needs and activity assessments as required to improve on the quality of services.
∎ Ensure that primary health, reproductive health, HIV programs, and community interventions are evidence-based and implemented in a comprehensive and cost-effective manner.
∎ Produce formal and informal reports on all activities participated on behalf of WC/Medair.
∎ Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team spirit and provide guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions.
∎ Provide support and mentorship to other clinic staff, providing on-the-job training where needed.
∎ Assist the Health Manager to manage and oversee the assigned health team including day-to-day management, development and training, appraisals.
∎ Along with clinic supervisors Facilitate regular team meetings with the assigned health team.
∎ Ensure all beneficiary records are accurately documented and completed
∎ Submit daily and/or weekly reports in a timely manner
∎ Work with Health Manager to ensure the correct and timely ordering (within budgetary constraints) of all necessary medicines, supplies and equipment for the assigned health facilities and activities, ensuring minimum stocks are maintained and items are stored and distributed correctly.
∎ Ensure regular inventory and consumption tracking of nutritional supplements and supplies
∎ Monitor expiration dates to ensure stocks are used prior to their expiration date
∎ Work with relevant staff to ensure prompt requesting of required supplies
∎ Implement, as far as is possible within operational constraints, relevant policies and standards relating to health and nutrition service delivery including Sphere and HAP standards, Ministry of Health and donor guidelines
∎
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least five years of related work experience
∎ Previous experience in a refugee and/ or infectious disease outbreak response context
∎ Proven experience in health coordination and management
∎ Previous experience within an INGO and/or UN agency
∎ Excellent computer, planning and organization skills
∎ Working in hard to reach places
∎ Written and spoken Bangla
∎ Excellent working English both written and spoken
∎ Desire to serve the refugee community
∎ Enjoys working in a team
∎ Respectful and kind with other staff and beneficiaries
∎ Capacity to be flexible when facing difficult working conditions
∎ Able to work well under pressure
∎ Willingness to travel and stay in the field.
Salary: Negotiable
