Job Responsibilities:
∎ To accomplish daily, monthly & quarterly target of washing production by ensuring quality in time;
∎ Adopt best industrial engineering practices in every possible area for better productivity and ensure optimization of resources;
∎ According to shipment plan ensure style wise productivity & on time delivery closing;
∎ Co-ordinate with the technical team and the wet process section of the factory;
∎ Develop recipes with wash team and adjust them to meet the desired looks and aesthetics;
∎ Handling critical washes & new styles by giving proper technical decisions in an effective way to increase productivity & achieve required quality at bulk;
∎ Add value in Bulk execution of all customer Denim and Non-Denims;
∎ Co-ordinate with CFT like the PD, Raw material assurance, and R&D team to understand the Finish expectations;
∎ Monitor the development to ensure the product meets the customer standards in terms of aesthetics, performance, and RSL needs;
∎ Complete the risk analysis process post- development tests to establish requirements to meet the standards, in case of difficult products establish the achievable standards and flag off variables;
∎ Shade Band Approval, Trial Bulk & Fixed with the wash recipe;
∎ Monitor the bulk execution to ensure the supply of the right products at the right time with an agreed lead time for the garment units to deliver the goods to customers as per commitments;
∎ As per process-wise layout, process sequence at dry & wet should be as per buyer requirement;
∎ Maintaining buyer and in-house SOP and trying to implement and add new wash formulas;
∎ Reduce chemical cost & re-wash garments, that is reduce wash cost by analyzing recipe & using washing chemicals in a proper way;
∎ Managing washing control process of wet & dry process;
∎ Ensure that safety, quality & maintenance compliance issues are taken as part of the job;
∎ Follow up and maintain the exact quality passing based on the standard of both (wet and dry) sections;
∎ To identify the root cause and action plans against any kind of quality-related issues;
∎ Work continuously on the initiatives like developing sustainable products, usage of sustainable chemicals to finish;
∎ Ensure on sustainable approaches on washing production by reducing uses of water, chemicals, utilities & other resources & increasing the uses of sustainable tools like ozone, nebulizing system for random/ acid effect, nebu dyeing, spray enzyme, water less enzyme, up & core system, rainforest technology, synthetic stone instead of pumic stone, no stone sheet, softener dry bag etc;
∎ Responsible for reporting production cost & quantity, raw material consumption & stock, quality and safety for effective decision making;
∎ To ensure that average rejection percentage should be below than 0.4% & re-wash % should be below than 6%;
∎ Ensure that Wet Process should run based on the approved SOP;
∎ Ensure/ deliver technical ideas to reduce washing processes by maintaining best quality;
∎ Continuously explore the new developments in the industry to upscale the capabilities of the laundries;
∎ Periodically meet the chemical suppliers to understand the new products;
∎ Communicate regularly with production leader to ensure that all quality-related issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner;
∎ Liaise with external auditors and customers to ensure that the factory's quality standards meet or exceed their expectations;
∎ Investigate and address any quality issues that arise, working with the production team to implement corrective action plans;
∎ Help in establishing quality control procedures, policies, and standards for all stages of laundry production;
∎ Participate in conducing regular quality audits to ensure that production processes comply with established standards;
∎ Complete the development tests, analyze the results, and make modifications to suit all the needs, etc.;
∎ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management pertaining to the safety, quality & efficiency of the factory.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ 10-14 years of experience. But in same role for at least 05 years in production line in a denim washing/laundry;
∎ Candidates with experience of Denim Woven Tops and Bottom wash will get preference;
∎ Knowledge of restricted substantial chemicals with regard to environmental sustainability;
∎ Strong knowledge of textile production processes, laundry production;
∎ Processes, quality control methodologies and standards;
∎ Excellent leadership and team management skills;
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners;
∎ Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement;
∎ Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to denim wash production and quality control;
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
∎ Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively to develop solutions to complex problems;
∎ Ability to effectively manage a team.
