Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation/Masters in any discipline from a recognized institution.
∎ Training/Trade Course: Garment Sample Development
∎ Skills Required: AutoCAD, Lingerie Production, Pattern making
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Accurate Sample Development, Auto Cad 2D, Knit Garments (lingerie item), Pattern making, Production
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyzing sketches and samples, understanding Brand requirements and develop samples accordingly, ensuring the feasibility of bulk production.
∎ Coordinating and communicating with the Brand on product related issues affecting to fit, construction, technical specifications and raw materials etc, and subsequently clarifying the requirements and recommending alternative value-added options to the Brand to arrive at a mutually beneficial solution.
∎ Work closely with the sample rooms and provide all required details to make all type of samples in a timely manner. Review test sample if required.
∎ Work with embellishments plant and conduct technical handovers if required and provide all required details to develop and make strike off.
∎ Follow -up with Brand for Development/SMS/Photo samples, comments in order to complete per-production activities prior to start production.
∎ Conduct risk analysis meeting for new/complicated styles to ensure the product meets Brand's specifications / standards.
∎ Work closely with Brands to develop approved block patterns in order to utilized for confirmed styles and developments.
∎ Review all samples thoroughly and ensure all comments instructions followed prior to dispatch samples.
∎ Check the fittings on mannequin or live Models and ensure the correct block patterns.
∎ Coordinating and communicating with the respective merchandisers on product related issues affecting to fit, construction, technical specifications and raw materials etc.
∎ Following-up on all pre- production activities to proactively identify and solve all technical and operational issues related to new products.
∎ Ensure accurate and updated comments /workbook from the beginning and communicate technical details through the workbooks for each and every styles.
∎ Ensure to review all the test reports.
∎ Ensure to keep counter samples and maintain monthly sample records.
∎ Providing technical advice (sewing techniques, critical quality points etc. to relevant staff and resolving critical day to day operational and technical issues in coordination with the production teams to facilitate the smooth transition of the production process.
∎ Update merchandising teams, and work accordingly to the progress schedule in order to complete undertaken tasks on a timely manner.
∎ Ensuring that all relevant information is maintained accurately, and all required management reports and documentation are prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
∎ To perform any other task as assigned by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 47 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have strong technical knowledge in Sample field.
∎ Must have the ability to supervise and inspire team members.
∎ Must have good command over Bangla & English Language.
∎ Perseverance and motivated.
∎ Well organized.
Salary: Negotiable
