We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and tech-forward Head of Research to lead our research division, manage our research team, and utilize cutting-edge research tools to drive high-impact publications.

• Job Location: On-site (House 352, Road 2, Sonadanga 2nd Phase, Khulna)

Key Responsibilities

• Research Writing & Publication: Lead the drafting, writing, and end-to-end submission process of high-quality research papers for top-tier indexed journals (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 / Scopus / Web of Science) and international conferences.

• AI Tool Integration: Leverage advanced AI tools and LLMs for academic literature search, synthesis, citation analysis, data processing, and manuscript refinement while maintaining strict scientific integrity.

• Team Leadership & Task Management: Supervise, delegate, and manage daily tasks for the research team (4–5 researchers). Ensure high productivity, guide methodologies, and hold team members accountable for deliverables.

• Quality Assurance & Ethics: Conduct thorough peer reviews of team outputs to ensure methodological accuracy, original drafting, proper ethical AI usage, and strict adherence to anti-plagiarism standards.

• Strategic Journal & Conference Selection: Utilize deep knowledge of journal indexing, impact factors, and citation matrices to target optimal publication channels.

• Mentorship: Mentor team members on advanced research techniques, writing frameworks, and modern academic tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant scientific, technical, or research-intensive discipline.

• Publication Record: Proven track record of published papers in international peer-reviewed journals (Q1/Q2 preferred) and conference proceedings.

• Leadership Experience: Prior experience managing or leading a team of 4–5 researchers or academic peers.

• AI & Technical Tool Expertise:

  • Hands-on proficiency with AI tools helpful in paper writing, literature synthesis, and academic editing (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Consensus, Elicit, SciSpace, Grammarly, QuillBot, or similar AI academic tools).

  • Familiarity with citation managers and document formatting (Mendeley, EndNote, LaTeX).

• Expert Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Q1–Q4 journal matrices, Scopus/Web of Science indexing, citation standards, and peer-review workflows.

• Language Proficiency: Exceptional written and spoken English fluency, tailored for high-level academic writing and technical communication.

• Availability: Must be able to work on-site at our Khulna office during the 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM BST shift.
