Responsibilities & Context:
- Establish quality control procedures for every stage of the production process, from design through to final product inspection.
- Conduct regular audits of production processes and products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Determine all product and technical specifications for garments, including construction sequences, machine and attachment usage, and work methods.
- Manage quality control teams responsible for inspecting and testing products to uphold quality.
- Coordinate and communicate with customers regarding product issues related to fit, construction, technical specifications, and raw materials.
- Oversee direct reporting from individual quality managers across departments and facilities to drive quality throughout the value chain.
- Supervise customer onboarding and implement processes throughout the value chain to meet customer-specific requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with design, production, and sales teams to ensure quality standards are maintained at every stage of the product lifecycle.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, customer expectations, and standards to keep quality control procedures effective and up to date.
- Train new staff and assign appropriate positions to ensure team readiness and competence.
