Experience:

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

Master’s degree in development studies, social works, business administration or related discipline. Any degree among above mentioned subject from abroad university will be preferred.

• At least 10 years

• Minimum experience of 10 years in a senior management position, leading and managing Country Programs and Teams

• Recognized experience in NGO environment (both in national and international) and other industries

• Working Experience in child-rights based organizations and, in both emergency, development contexts and Impact investment

• Experience of working in an international context, at least in Asia with strong portfolio in the Bangladesh (desirable)

• Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, electronic); ability to communicate complex, technical information in a simple and articulate manner

• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving capacity

• Ability to adapt the international strategy in the local context

• Understanding of Educo’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Principles

• Ability to follow procedures and work cooperatively with team members

• Broadly focused but with the capacity to pay attention to details

• Have skill to prioritize tasks and to understand the situation

• Proven leadership role in technical areas at both field and country level

Purpose

• To provide strategic leadership and technical guidance to ensure the effective implementation of Educo Bangladesh’s programs and projects in alignment with the Global and Country Programmatic Frameworks. The position oversees Programs, Sponsorship and Advocacy functions, ensuring quality, accountability, and learning across all initiatives. It also plays a key role in resource mobilization, donor relations, staff development, and external representation to strengthen Educo’s visibility, impact, and sustainability.

Engagement

• Secure collaboration/ agreement from the team members reflecting empathy of perspectives and identifying recognition of mutual/ complementary interests.
• Maintain regular communications and satisfy requirements of HO for strong relationship for smooth operations of the programs in Bangladesh Country Office.
• Maintain relation with fund providers and consortium/implementing partners for mutual learning and impact driven project implementation. Continuously satisfy donor requirements to be a partner of choice for the donors.
• Maintain liaison with external stakeholders e.g., Govt., private and International & National Non-Govt. Organizations for advocacy work and image building/ branding of the organization through representing Educo in different platform.

Total Yearly Salary & Benefits : BDT 39,78,053/- (Taka Thirty-Nine Lac Seventy-Eight Thousand Fifty-Three) only.
