∎ Giant Agro Processing Ltd. is looking for a dynamic, proactive and result oriented person who can oversees the whole production and operation of the potato, paddy & vegetables seeds and agro business of the Company.
∎ Job role
∎ The position is responsible for overseeing the production and supply of high-quality seeds. This role involves managing planting schedules, crop care, harvesting, processing, and inventory management to meet the company's strategic goals.
∎ Duties & Responsibilities
∎ Manage, direct, and organize daily and weekly production (Potato, Paddy & Vegetables seeds) plans;
∎ Oversee the entire production process and ensure maximum production with minimum cost;
∎ Plan, coordinate seed production activities of the production areas in order to meet quality & quantity seed availability;
∎ Manage production staff in each location, providing proper directions;
∎ Organize Seed Growers/Field Staff, trainings/field days and demonstrations on seed production technologies of different crops;
∎ Negotiate and coordinate grower contracts for other organisations;
∎ Develop & maintain grower evaluation data to drive increase yield and quality;
∎ Coordinate with function coordinator & seed growers for payment related aspects;
∎ Identify new production areas, ensuring production supply;
∎ Remain updated with latest developments related to seed production technology;
∎ Conduct 100% inspection of all seed production fields at least 3 to 4 times in crop cycle;
∎ Prepares the annual Budget estimates & Latest Estimates (LEs) for the department to ensure cost sustainability of business;
∎ Monitors and controls department expenditure to ensure spending is within budget while maintaining quality and quantity;
∎ Any other task assigned by Management time to time.
