Responsibilities & Context:
To lead and mentor maintenance teams.
To develop and implement preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
To prepare and control the maintenance budget.
To oversee process control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA) and plant automation.
To maintain hazardous area in compliance with chemical plant standards.
To enforce LOTO (Lockout–Tagout), work permit systems and safe maintenance practices.
To ensure support HAZOP, HIRA, and incident investigations related to mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
To coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities for maintenance related inspections.
Maintain documentation for calibration, testing and statutory certifications.
To drive energy conservation initiatives and cost reduction projects.
To manage maintenance contractors, AMC vendors, and service providers and evaluate appropriate technical specifications for new equipment, upgrades and spare parts.
To drive continuous improvement initiatives (TPM, 5S, Kaizen).
To lead plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and major overhauls.
