Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
Professional certifications preferred (ITIL, CISSP, CISM, CCNA/CCNP, AWS/Azure)
Experience 8–12+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in infrastructure leadership
Proven experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure and security
Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms, network architecture, cybersecurity, and DR planning Core Competencies
Strategic thinking with strong execution discipline
Deep understanding of infrastructure, security, and enterprise systems
Strong stakeholder management and decision-making ability
Crisis management and risk-based problem solving
Financial and vendor management acumen
Responsibilities & Context:
The Head of IT & Infrastructure is responsible for building, securing, and scaling the organization’s technology foundation to enable business growth and operational excellence. This role ensures IT functions as a strategic enabler by delivering resilient infrastructure, strong cybersecurity, and future-ready systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy & Governance
Define and execute the IT and infrastructure roadmap aligned with business priorities and long-term growth plans. Establish governance frameworks to ensure standardization, scalability, and risk control.
2. Infrastructure Reliability & Scalability
Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user systems. Proactively plan capacity and architecture to support business expansion.
3. Cybersecurity & Compliance
Lead cybersecurity strategy, data protection, and risk management initiatives across the organization. Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal security standards.
4. Cloud, Data Center & DR Operations
Oversee cloud environments, on-premise infrastructure, backup, and disaster recovery to ensure business continuity. Regularly test and improve DR and incident response plans.
5. IT Operations & Service Delivery
Ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations through defined SLAs, KPIs, and IT service management practices. Drive continuous improvement in system uptime and user experience.
6. Budgeting & Vendor Management
Manage IT budgets with a focus on cost optimization and value delivery. Lead vendor selection, contract negotiation, license management, and performance evaluation.
7. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, mentor, and develop the IT & infrastructure team to build strong technical and operational capabilities. Set clear goals, performance standards, and succession plans.
8. Digital Enablement & Transformation
Support enterprise applications, automation, and system integrations to improve efficiency. Enable digital transformation initiatives that enhance productivity and business agility.
