Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Master's in Accounting or Finance from a reputed university (preferably University of Dhaka).
∎ CA (Chartered Accountant) / ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accounts) & preferably CTP (Certified Treasury Professional)
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Formulation and implementation of applicable accounting policies and processes including accounting of transactions in the general ledger.
∎ Ensuring overall integrity of financial information and adherence to applicable standards, laws and regulations.
∎ Play an active role in designing and developing the long and short-term investment strategies for the company while keeping stakeholders' best interests in mind.
∎ Forecast, Monitor and interpret both Short term and Long term liquidity position, daily cash requirements of the company and execute daily financing decisions.
∎ Take necessary measures to meet short term and long term funding requirements of the company.
∎ Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities within the scope of treasury and cash management.
∎ Preparation of the quarterly and yearly budget of the company, variance analysis and actual cash flow reporting on monthly basis.
∎ Managing the corporate tax and VAT affairs of the company.
∎ Ensuring complete corporate secretarial compliance.
∎ Participate in Strategy formulation of the company.
∎ Management reporting of financials to the CEO/Board/Mother Organization.
∎ Preparation of quarterly financial reporting and annual statutory reporting.
∎ Manage annual and internal audits.
∎ Recording and control over all fixed assets.
∎ Any other duties or responsibilities, if required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven working experience (5-10 years) in a similar role in Capital Market Industry.
∎ In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
∎ Hands-on experience with budgeting, risk and treasury management.
∎ Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
∎ Solid analytical and decision-making skills.
∎ Proficiency in accounting software.
∎ Leadership abilities.
