Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Head of Digital Marketing must lead the process of implementing our resources and build a culture based on new business development
∎ Upon demonstrating an understanding of the media sales business the Head of Digital Marketing will be encouraged to identify high-performance sales talent and build his/her team to ensure continued growth

∎ Works with key advertisers, including a base of local and locally controlled small businesses, to develop successful relationships
∎ Work closely with market leadership to create unique cross-platform programs
∎ Employs public-relations techniques to ensure that the employees and the public have a good understanding of The Leaf-Chronicle and TN Media capabilities to connect and help local people and impact growth for local businesses
∎ Prospecting new business and potential partners
∎ Developing and pitching sponsorship packages designed to meet clients’ needs
∎ Fulfilling advertising/sponsorship packages
