Strong knowledge of import-export procedures, LCs, customs, bonded warehouse operations, UD/UP, and duty drawback.

Excellent leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with senior management.

• Lead all import-export, LC, banking, customs clearance, and logistics activities.

• Manage bonded warehouse operations, UD/UP, duty drawback, and other applicable export incentives.

• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank, NBR, Customs, BGMEA/BKMEA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.

• Control commercial costs, monitor liabilities, and ensure timely settlement of claims and obligations.

• Lead and develop the central Commercial team supporting multiple factories.

• Coordinate with Finance, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Factory Management.

• Provide regular reports, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

• Ensure regular commercial audits, accurate documentation, and strict compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

• Prevent fines, penalties, demurrage, and unnecessary charges arising from errors, negligence, or non-compliance.

• Establish strong internal controls and ensure timely corrective actions to eliminate recurring commercial discrepancies and financial risks.
