Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage)

• 8–12+ years in IT Infrastructure / Cloud Engineering.

• Minimum 3+ years in a leadership role managing cloud teams.

• Deep expertise in AWS / Azure / GCP (multi-cloud preferred).

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD tools.

• Experience designing high-availability and disaster recovery systems.

Job Context

The Head of Cloud will architect, lead, and scale Betopia Group’s cloud ecosystem to enable aggressive business growth, operational resilience, and product innovation. This role is accountable for cloud strategy, security, cost governance, DevOps maturity, and high-availability infrastructure across all business units.

This is a strategic leadership role — not an operational admin position.

Job Responsibilities

1) Cloud Strategy & Architecture Leadership

• Define and execute a 3–5 year cloud transformation roadmap aligned with business expansion plans.

• Architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.

• Establish cloud governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.

2) Infrastructure & DevOps Excellence

• Lead DevOps transformation including CI/CD automation, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Ensure 99.9%+ uptime through resilient architecture design.

• Standardize monitoring, logging, and incident management protocols.

3) Security, Compliance & Risk Management

• Implement enterprise-grade cloud security architecture.

• Ensure compliance with ISO, SOC2, or other applicable regulatory standards.

• Conduct periodic cloud risk audits and vulnerability assessments.

4) Cost Optimization & Cloud FinOps

• Establish cost governance models and budget forecasting mechanisms.

• Optimize cloud spend through right-sizing, reserved instances, and architecture efficiency.

• Present monthly cloud performance and cost reports to leadership.

5) Leadership & Talent Development

• Build and lead a high-performing Cloud Engineering & DevOps team.

• Define skill frameworks, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.

• Foster a culture of automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.

• Cross-Functional Business Enablement:

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, and Data teams.

• Enable rapid product deployment cycles.

• Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategy.
