∎ The candidate must obtain degrees in Information Technology / Information systems or computer science.
∎ Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,American International University Bangladesh,Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference
∎ Training/Trade Course: Any IT related vendor Certification is highly prefared
∎ Skills Required: IT Project Management, Software Implementation
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Information technology, IT Support Service, MIS, Network Engineering, Project Management, Server Management, Team Leadership
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
IT Enabled Service, Manufacturing (FMCG)
Job Context:
∎ The major role of the potential candidate for IT Director Asia is to look after all the major functions of IT infrastructure in Bangladesh and India. He /she must have the capability to oversee all the important IT functions. The core job would be to ensure smooth IT services to the company.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee all IT operations (e.g. desktops, servers, network, security) and evaluate them according to
∎ established goals. Ensure IT operations are compliant with regulations and policies.
∎ Manage software licensing compliance program for Asia locations Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by CTO
∎ Analyse the business requirements of Bright River Asia locations to determine their technology needs
∎ Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software together with in-country finance and procurement teams.
∎ Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
∎ Coordinate local IT staff and supervise technicians and other professionals to provide guidance
∎ Control budget and report on expenditure
∎ Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
∎ Oversees IT operations in Bright River Asia offices.
∎ Designs and implements IT strategies and infrastructure.
∎ Identifies and eliminates security risks.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systems
∎ Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
∎ Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects
∎ Solid working knowledge of all relevant IT architectures and security protocols
∎ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Team oriented
∎ Minimum eight (8) years of experience working in IT Operations
∎ Minimum three (3) years of experience overseeing IT teams and projects
∎ IT Vendor Certifications
