  • Minimum 4–7+ years of experience in Business Development in the software/IT services industry.
  • Experience working with international clients, ideally dealing with North American, European, or Australian markets.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes—web, mobile app, SaaS, APIs, integrations, cloud, etc.
  • Exceptional English communication skills (both written and spoken) with the ability to run client meetings independently.
  • Proven experience in preparing proposals, working with technical teams, writing requirement documents, and managing sales funnels.
  • Demonstrated ability to close medium to large software projects.
  • Strong leadership qualities—ability to guide junior BD resources, manage priorities, and handle pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evening/night meetings as needed for foreign clients.
  • Strategic mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of the international outsourcing

  • To accelerate this mission, we are seeking an experienced Head of Business Development / Senior Business Development Manager who will lead our overall business development function, drive incoming project flow, and play a critical role in shaping our international footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire business development department, including strategy, execution, and team performance.

  • Drive consistent inbound project flow from global marketplaces (Upwork, Freelancer.com, LinkedIn), partnerships, referrals, and direct outreach.

  • Conduct professional meetings with international clients, understand requirements, and maintain high-level communication aligned with global standards.

  • Oversee requirement gathering, documentation, proposal preparation, cost estimation, negotiation, and deal closure.

  • Develop a strong sales pipeline and improve conversion rates using structured follow-up processes (Trello/CRM).

  • Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities, niches, and service offerings to increase revenue.

  • Collaborate closely with management to refine pricing strategy, proposal templates, and communication frameworks.

  • Build, mentor, and expand the Business Development team as the company grows.

  • Protect and strengthen Technovicinity’s brand reputation as a reliable, quality-driven international software development partner.

  • Meet monthly/quarterly revenue and lead conversion targets.
