∎ Master of Commerce (MCom) in Economics, Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics

∎ Professional Certification: CIA/CA/CISA/CFE/ACCA/CERM.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The Head of Audit will oversee all activities of the Audit Unit and ensures that tasks are completed by the unit’s officials under the supervision of the Audit Committee.
∎ Monitor and supervise the reporting of foreign exchange transactions across branches/OBU/Divisions in the Online Foreign Exchange Transaction Monitoring System of Bangladesh Bank.
∎ Will be responsible for checking, editing and finalizing audit/investigation reports.
∎ Will ensure the timely submission of various reports, including audit reports, short reports, investigation reports, surprise inspection reports and risk-based audit reports.
∎ The Head of Audit will prepare memos on major irregularities in audit/investigation reports for submission to the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors.
∎ Will maintain the Risk Grading and Branch Audit Ratings submitted by the audit team.
∎ Supervise the submission of the quarterly Independent Testing Ratings related to anti-money laundering as per Bangladesh Bank guidelines.
∎ The Head of Audit will prepare the yearly Risk-Based Audit Plan and handle ad-hoc special inspections or investigation reports for submission to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
∎ Will supervise the maintenance of all audit-related files, records, manuscripts, and final reports both hard copy & Soft copy.
∎ Will manage all correspondences related to the Audit Unit.
∎ Oversee the development of policies, manuals and the organogram for the Internal Audit Unit.
∎ The Head of Audit will be fully responsible for any future obligations arising from inappropriate reporting or failure to report lapses or irregularities.
